Update (March 2020) Flexible Learning Day plans and goals:
In the case of a flexible learning day, please continue to stay current with your instrument. This includes logging your practice minutes (5o minutes/week), reviewing your favorite pieces and pressing ahead as we normally do in class. Any questions, please email me!
Attached here is a new "Learning Objectives" practice log PDF downloadPDF download if you run out of space.
Here are some reflective questions:
-What went well?
-What can I improve on?
-Can I identify the notes, rhythm, and other symbols in the musical piece?

Concert Information
For parents of violin/viola students...
Please consider investing in a violin/viola shoulder rest! This accessory helps support the instrument better than a sponge rest (which usually comes with the rental) and will help your child feel most comfortable when playing
I recommend the Everest shoulder rest brand or the KUN brand.
Below are links to an example of both brands on the Music & Arts website:

Are you thinking of getting private lessons?
We definitely recommend it for best results! Please contact me by email for the list.
